About Us

Stehlin UK is a renovation and project management company with over 20 years of experience. We deliver exceptional builds, always striving to meet, and exceed, our clients’ expectations.

Led by Reuben Stehlin, who began his trade in New Zealand, our journey in the UK since 2011 has been built on hands-on experience and trusted relationships with leading design and engineering teams. This network of specialist expertise allows us to offer a complete, considered service, with clear communication, thoughtful collaboration and confidence from the initial idea through to completion.

At Stehlin UK, we believe you should always know what's happening and why. Our process is built on simplicity and transparency, guiding you thoguht the following stages.

Our Process

Initial Consultation

Every project starts with an on-site consultation, where we walk the space with you and give honest, practical guidance on what's achievable, timelines and cost.

We then send a detailed, room-by-room Scope of Words, outlining exactly what's to be completed to accurately quote your project.

Design & Approval

We work closely alongside your architects and designers throughout the design and approval process, ensuring the build is planned with precision from the outset.

Our input helps bridge design intent with practical, on-site reality, liaising with building control to keep everything compliant, so drawings translate smoothly into a build that’s accurate, achievable, and ready for approval.

Build & Project Management

Once work begins, our team manages every stage of your build with the same commitment to quality and transparency. We coordinate trades, keep you updated with bi-weekly progress meetings, and handle the details from foundations to finishing touches.

Any variations are discussed with you before proceeding, and issues are communicated promptly, keeping your project on track and on budget.

Final Walkthrough

At completion, we walk the project with you and raise any snags, which are recorded on an itemised form. This form is used to coordinate and close out items with the contractors, and is attached to the practical completion form when signed, marking the start of your warranty.
